Shopify & Ghost Integration + Local SEO Updates 📍

Another week, another batch of updates!

I’m still going through all the feedback after the launch - but despite the chaos, this week was pretty productive. Here’s what shipped 👇

🛍 1. Shopify Integration

A lot of people already have a blog on Shopify and don’t want to switch hosting - totally understandable.

So now you can publish BlogBowl articles directly to your Shopify store.

Setup takes about 60 seconds.

👻 2. Ghost Integration

By popular request - Ghost is now supported!

You can automatically push your generated articles into your Ghost blog.

📍 3. Local SEO - Coordinates

If you’re a local business, you can now add your location coordinates.

This helps BlogBowl search Google as if we were physically in your area, so your articles become much more accurate and locally relevant.

📝 4. Global Additional topic Instructions

Previously, you could add custom instructions per topic.
But if you wanted the same rule across all topics… you had to copy/paste every time 🫨

Now there’s a global instruction setting - apply your preferences once, and BlogBowl uses them for every topic automatically.

🍳 What’s Cooking Next

Oh boy… a lot 😄

1. BlogBowl API v1 (yes, we actually don’t have one yet)

2. More integrations - reply to this email and tell me what you want

3. A secret move - people who had a demo may already know 👀
   → estimated timeframe: 2–3 months

4. MCP integration - I want this badly
   Example that you can ask in Claude:
   “Write a changelog/newsletter and publish it to BlogBowl automatically.”
